Making foundations for the future

December 19, 2023Trying to visualise how a new carpet or flooring will look in your home is very difficult – but we’ve just made it easier!
We’ve recently added to the Jon the Carpetman website a handy new app which allows you to experiment by changing colours, shades and different collections. You can upload a photo of your room and – voilà – you can visualise what it would look like. This is especially useful if you are seeking to narrow down the options before we bring samples to show you.
So far a few of our major suppliers are on the system but more will be added as time goes by.
Last month Joel and I also attended a major carpet and flooring Trade Fair in the UK. It was great for both of us to chat to suppliers, colleagues and friends old and new. These type of events are also ideal for spotting the latest trends in carpet styles and flooring.
Cormar Carpet Company has their new range called Fairisle – a 3 ply wool textured range in heathered neutral shades. Abingdon Flooring too has just launched two complimentary ranges – Charter Plain Loop and Charter Berber Loop, again in 3 ply 100% wool.
But the king of British made 100% wool loop pile carpets must be Brockway Carpets with over a dozen loop pile qualities across their product range, in either 3 or 4 ply yarn.
So which will you choose for your home? At least now you can visualise it……..
Enjoy the autumn!
All the best,
Jon
