How can you do this? Well, essentially you have two options to protect your carpet.
One way is to choose a stain-free carpet manufactured by companies such as Abingdon or Cormar. This type of carpet is made using the latest technologies and is 100% Polypropylene. It works by ensuring that any spills such as from coffee or wine cannot filter into the pile fibre, allowing you to quickly clean it and leaving the carpet without a blemish.
Not convinced? One of our clients recently spilt some red wine on their pale grey carpet, from the Cormar Sensation Heathers range. Linda told us, “I know you said it was stain proof but I was not totally convinced…. Shouldn’t have doubted you as there is not a trace.”
However if you prefer the touch and feel of wool carpets in your home in France, or any kind of natural fibre such as Seagrass, there is another option. Intec is a resinous co-polymer formula which ingeniously forms an invisible shield around every fibre. This protects the carpet so that it will always look great. The solution is solvent-free, will not affect the colour, texture or flame retardancy of the carpet. Before delivering the carpet, we will lay it out in our warehouse and apply the Intec protection, which is virtually odourless and dries in minutes. Carpets from quality suppliers such as Adam or Brockway are perfect for this protection.
