Find out why I have been ‘back on the tools’ laying carpet recently….
August 11, 2020Life in the Corrèze
November 10, 2020It’s always exciting when a new carpet range is launched. I have worked in the carpet industry for a long time and I have seen how styles have changed and evolved over the years.
Yet even today, I still enjoy the touch and feel of a new carpet as I get it ready to deliver to a client. I love the new patterns, colours and carpet fabrics… the bold and innovative designs, as well as traditional plain carpets that look a treat.
Recently Abingdon Flooring and Cormar Carpets both launched new ranges of carpet. Carpets which are easy to clean, are of great quality – and will look fab in your home in France.
Let’s take a look at Cormar’s Inglewood Saxony first of all.
It is heavy weight, so it is durable and long-lasting; however, it has a luxurious feel too. Inglewood Saxony uses two-fold yarn and is available in 15 heather shades. A carpet that is non-fade, stain-resistant and bleach cleanable – so incredibly easy to keep clean.
Abingdon’s Stainfree Sophisticat is another newcomer. They describe this carpet as one which is “designed for today, to withstands the rigours of tomorrow” – with no compromise on luxury. Sophisticat is available in various colours, so will suit a variety of décor. Stainfree Maximus is a further option, its dense and luxuriant pile is offered in a number of colours including neutral tones.
I’m delighted to say we also have samples for all of these carpets in our showroom. So, if you would like to take a further look, please get in touch.
