Life in the Limousin

These are crazy – and yes scary – times that we going through at the moment, I’m sure you’ll agree. Family means everything to all of us.  Like many of you, we have family living in the UK including my 87 year old mum and my 3 older children, two of whom work in the hospitality industry and are now out of work. It’s at times like these when the distance between us does seem a long way.

We are though, fortunate to live in the beautiful Limousin countryside as opposed to a larger town or city. We are able to enjoy the immediate surroundings of our home in rural tranquillity. Spring is on its way and the days are getting warmer so grass is getting cut and dogs getting plenty of exercise.

One of the best things about the work that I do is going out and about around France to visit clients. I love this and it’s great to meet people, some of whom we have worked with for many years.

However, obviously that’s not possible currently! Therefore Andrea, Joel and I have been getting on with all of those jobs around the house that have been on our ‘to do’ list sometime… I am sure that many of you have had the same thoughts over the past few weeks.  It’s good to have Joel old enough to assist – although not too sure of his colour choice for his bedroom!

We have an adjacent property next door which we own that we’ve been decorating. It’s starting to look great! Joel is also getting used to home schooling.

So I guess it’s fair to say that there are lots of things we can do – and things we can’t. Hopefully life will return to relative normality sometime… Thanks again for your custom – and Keep Safe!
